Distance Learning

 Dear Parents/Caregivers,

I hope you are coping ok in this lockdown and your kids aren't too bored! There is Distance Learning assigned each day on our website and intranet - lots to do, including many fun science experiments. Students who email completed work will get 10 ClassDojo points. Well done Isabelle Jones - the first to do it. Below is her work from the first day of Distance Learning. I am eagerly waiting to see what Jacinda decides to do tomorrow. Keep up the good work Room 15!

Week 2

 Hi all,

Wow! Where is the time going? We are two weeks down already and students of Room 15 have hit the ground running. There have so many stars - Isabelle, Viral, Anthony, Sahar, Wil and Farhaan just to name a few. Students have been busy talking about and practising our New Windsor Way competencies. They are also getting used to other changes at school, including a new timetable and maths programme. This week I have shared with you their First Day Poems. Enjoy!

Welcome back!

 

Hi parents/caregivers,

Welcome to 2021! I am Kaine Henderson and I will be your child's teacher this year. For the first few weeks we will be getting to know each other. Remember to send your child with their sun hat this term. Later in the term they will also have swimming lessons. This will be my main way of communicating throughout the year with notices and will upload children's work. Week 8

Hi all,

Students of Room 7 made ice cream today. It's very simple - try it at home! Ask them to show you. Please return permission slips and $10 for the Year 6 Parakai trip as soon as possible. We are going on December 13th and if they don't have permission they won't be going.

Stars of the Week are Viliame Naisausau and Markell Morris-Taualofa for their reading. The PB4L draw winners were Karthik Padma and Lucretia Day. Well done!

Week 7

Hi all,

I can't believe there are only 12 days of school left in 2019! There are a lot of fun activities planned including science experiments, Year 6 graduation, the fun day and Parakai for Year 6 students. Keep an eye on your child's home study for more information on what is coming up.

Hi all,

Another great week! Life Education is over for another year. Your child participated in another science experiment and made some good observations. Turbo Touch also finished this week.
