Week 2

Hi all, 

Students have started the term running – literally. It has been a busy fortnight in and out of class. Students have started a lot of new topics and put their best foot forward in athletics. The first of several weekly Taekwondo sessions at school started last week.

Calendar art was completed last week. Check it out (below) and send your order form in with money by November 2^nd if you are interested in purchasing it. The art is also on display in Room 19. You can have the art put on calendars, diaries, cards or mouse pads (prices vary). A great Christmas present for the grandparents J 

Miss Orr and myself have been busy these last two weeks testing children in reading. We have some excellent results with some students moving up multiple levels. I will discuss their progress with you in their report and student involved conferences later in the term.

Stars of the Week were Hafsa Saeed, Tegan White and Mela Shallard for moving up multiple levels in reading. The PB4L draw winner was Audrina Singh.
