Friday, September 24th

Hi all,

We came one step closer to all being back at school this week. Going to Level 3 means essential workers can send their children to school, we can get takeaways, visit our mechanic and have a bit more freedom.

I was in one of our bubbles at school today and it was nice to see the children's smiling faces. Even though most wore face masks and there were many restrictions in place, it was nice to be teaching in person. I have noticed a lot of work coming through from the ministry's learning packs too which is great.

There is one more week left of Term 3 and distance learning then it's school holidays.

Thanks to all the parents who have been sharing their child's work - keep it coming on email or Class Dojo.

Stars of the Week were Prisha, Viral, Anthony and Wil.

Have a great weekend.

Mr Henderson.

  1. Your green Lava Lamp looks really interesting Wil. I wonder if you can guide me through the steps to make one like this once we are back at school? Do you think one of these would good in my office?

  2. Room 15 You are a very busy bunch of kids. I am loving the paper folding and super cool writing that is going on. Its a beautiful painting of a butterfly and the colours are so real as is the pattern on it wings. Keep up the great work and it is super cool to see you using the learning pack to do your maths. I wonder how many others will do activities from their learning pack.
